Creative Actors Workshop A continuing Los Angeles professional acting workshop right here in Missouri. Starting our 7th year in the “Show Me State”, Scott-Arthur & Elizabeth Allen’s training will put you on track and provide you with a personalized road map to reach your highest potential. The Allen’s have over 55 years of combined experience in the entertainment business as successful actors, acting coaches, casting directors and talent managers. This is an incredible opportunity for Missouri Actors to learn from two of the top teachers working in the industry today. “Study with those who care” As Judy Kerr said in her best selling book, Acting is Everything (The expanded Gold 11th edition.) " Missouri has a gem for actors in Springfield & Saint Louis. Look up acting coach Scott-Arthur Allen a well-respected Hollywood coach who has taught Heather Locklear, Sela Ward and Tea Leoni among others, he has returned to teach in his wife’s home town" In 2009 a SAG Movie out of Los Angeles and New York was shot in Taney and Christian County. Five Actors from the Creative Actors Workshop were cast in Winter's Bone that was accepted into the Sundance Film Festival 2010 and is competing against 16 other films in the dramatic competition.

FEATURING: Award winning director Debra Granik and producer Anne Rosellini were highly complimentary of all our actors. Winter’s Bone was produced by Down to the Bone Productions and Anonymous Productions. Thirty of our actors auditioned and twenty-seven got callbacks. Lauren, Casey, Cody, Charlotte and Brandon are now SAG eligible and now have a huge head start for if and when they make the move to Los Angeles. Periodically CAW brings in managers and casting directors for special weekend seminars and showcases. For the most recent Showcase CAW brought in Phil Brock from Studio Talent Group who manages many top working actors. For the 2007 Showcase CAW brought in Steven Nash from Arts and Letters Management who manages Marshal Allman from Prison Break. For the most recent Seminar, CAW brought in Bob Thompson of Group III Management. Bob manages Lucas Grabeel of High School Musical I, II, III, Milk and Alice Upside Down a film that was shot in Saint Louis MO. Lucas is an alumnus of Kickapoo high in Springfield MO. Mr. Thompson signed three actors that weekend and not surprising all had trained with the Creative Actors Workshop. . There are numerous actors from our St Louis and Springfield classes who have moved to Los Angeles and New York with the help of CAW. Many have signed with major agencies and talent managers. Annalise has a supporting role in Bed Time Stories, co-starred in Love Takes Wing, that just aired on the Hallmark channel and guest stared on Lie to Me. Gabriel co-stared in Ghost Town, a web series, and appeared in iCarly. Gabriel stars in Alabama Moon, due out 2010. Alexandra played Marilyn in Alice Upside Down opposite Lucas Grabeel and also has a national Chevrolet commercial running in Japan. Plus Alexandra shot a national Nikon commercial with Ashton Kutcher. Megan and Katelyn Gelber have signed with Untitled Entertainment one of the largest management companies in the business who manages such stars as Hilary Swank, Ray Liotta, Naomi Watts, Christian Salter, Demi Moore, Jessica Lange and Ashton Kutcher to name a few. Megan appears as Liz in The Hallway a movie made for TV. What do all of these actors have in common? They are getting professional training and guidance from Creative Actors Workshop before moving on to their professional career.
